- All I can say is Good Luck getting insurance cheep. You have stolen identity...so thats gonna be saving at least 18(if not A LOT more) months I think
- It depends. How much do you have to put on a down payment? Have you talked to somebody at a dealership yet? How is your credit? Do you have a co-signer like your father just in case they deny you the loan?" Lets say a Scion costs 16K and you put down 2K so you have to finance 14K and your APR is like 5.2% for 60 months you'd probably have to pay anywhere between $200 - $300 a month plus another $50 - 100 for insurance depending on how good your driving record is and if you qualify for a student discount.
- Your 18 and you want to by a brand new 08 Scion. Let me knock some sence into your brain. By getting a 08 Scion save yourself the financial stress. Don't spend, or waste your money on a car that you know you can't afford with or without your parents. You'll also need to save ton for insurance. Let me give you an example of what happened to my co-worker. His son is 17, he bought him a Honda Coupe and thought the insurance he was quoted was only $1500 for six months. Than when his son got the license the insurance went up to $3000 + car payments. Do you want to be in debt at 18? If your going to college and all that, you'll get more debt. Sure a 18 year old kid with a new car sounds cool, but if you can't afford it don't buy the damn car. Look at getting a 1990's car, no liability. If your friends make fun of you tell them that your saving up for a 2015 Scion when your 25, you save by then you'll get your car than. So what to do with that money? Save it, and also put a part of it in a Roth IRA and start saving for your retirement. Trust me, you buy that car, you'll be in debt forever...unless you parents are buying it all.
