ID Theft

is there a new possible law in state Mass or Main that citizens will need ID Theft Protection?

I heard they are trying to pass a mandate to help protect citizens from Identity Theft. Ie citizens will be required to carry ID theft protection or insurance???? Im not looking on info abut ID Theft protection, I sell the protection, Im just looking for info on a possible new mandate, that Massachusets may be passing to make mandatory for its citizens.

1. I think they are geting tougher on identity theft laws but they usually give you id theft protection with credit cards
2. I live here in the state of Louisiana and my son and I and my friends and I have had stolen Identity theft insurance for years. Anyone with common sense should have it. It is very common to happen to anyone and you need this insurance with a good company.
3. ID theft is not just financial people. That crap you get through your credit card company doesn't do jack. They cover their card and their card only. Plus there are 5 types of identity theft and 4 of them have nothing to do with credit or credit cards. Only 26% of all identity thefts reported have any thing to do with financial stuff. I think it should be passed. There are forms of Identity theft that can kill you.
