  1. 1. yu kan end up in jael. Feds sued a woman in Kalif. It sed her didnt file form 1040 for last 7 yeers. True kauz her did NOT hav NE inkum. Feds didnt tell her theer R 82 wetbaks that yuze her soshal sekurity number. Feds klaem her had inkum in Texas. Her had never ben in Texas.
  2. If wages are reported on your SSN, then your wage base is increased inappropriately. If your SSN is used to get SS benefits, then it may impact your ability to get SS benefits for yourself. The SSA sends out a statement every three years or so - you should review it to make sure your report is accurate. ID theft probably does not affect social security benefits as much as it affects credit history and credit ratings.
